This past year during Advent, we wanted to have our home-bound congregation members and those who felt more comfortable worshiping from home be active in our advent services. We put Advent baskets together that had an Advent Wreath, candles, liturgies, and devotionals so that they could be reminded of the season. We wanted them to have a physical reminder that we were preparing to welcome Jesus at Christmas, even though they were not physically present with each week in worship.
