Bill Whitt is a pastor who is passionate about communicating the timeless truths of Scripture to today’s culture. With 25 years of experience shepherding congregations and leading ministry teams, Bill’s goal is to connect people with one another and with their Creator. Before serving churches, Bill worked in broadcast news, where he earned an Emmy nomination for his storytelling. He holds bachelor’s degrees in journalism and psychology, along with master’s degrees in human relations and divinity. In Florida, Bill served as the Associate Pastor of Worship and Media at Sunlight Community Church (https://sunlightchurch.com/ ) for ten years, helping the church triple in size and begin a robust ministry expansion through church planting. He currently serves as the Lead Pastor of Cascade Fellowship (https://www.cascadefellowship.org/ ), a church of about 850 people in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Bill is also a certified church consultant who enjoys encouraging, mentoring, and equipping pastors as they lead congregations to fulfill God’s calling. His consultations typically focus on preaching, media, worship, technology, and communication.
